About the Teacher

I have been teaching in Woodway, Texas, since 1978. I strive for professionalism in my approach to teaching, performing, and leadership.

​My goal is to give every student the tools he or she needs to enjoy music-making for a lifetime.  My job is help students develop the skills necessary to read music, understand music theory, play with solid technique, and perform musically.  I strive to nurture all students to achieve their full potential through creative expression, mastery of the instrument, and the love of music.​
